DARLINGTON – Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Ellen Lynch were held Thursday morning in the Bright Funeral Home. Rev. Orville L. Gardner, pastor of the Northside Church of the Brethren in Indianapolis, was the officiating minister. Curtis E. Bright, organist, played requested selections which included “Abide With Me,” “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Sweet Hour of Prayer.” Pallbearers were Richard and Donald Weliever, John Thompson and James Price of Darlington, John Lynch of Belleville and Doyle Waughtel of Brownsburg. They also assisted with the floral tributes. Burial was in the Oddfellows Cemetery here. Mrs. Lynch died Tuesday night at the Bowles Convalesent Home in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient several months. – jlr
